Namaste Beautiful Souls,
I designed a beautiful class for my Yoga & Breakfast Event on Monday, "Releasing Anxiety" with the theme 'surrender'. I got such a great response from the students after class that I felt like I need to share this in my blog.
I used to be such a restless soul. I used to never be satisfied, always wanting change, something else and always living in the past or in the future. My first memories with anxiety comes from when I was around 10 years old. I asked my dad if I could stay home from school because I had such a stomach ache. When I was working in the corporate world, I used to be really anxious for big presentations or meetings. I used to feel anxious days in advance and I often got stress raches on my chest.
Anxiety is just feeling like you're not enough or like you're not doing enough. Maybe you have too much on your plate or too high expectations of yourself. So here's my words to you: You are enough. You are doing enough and that is enough. You're doing the best you can and that is enough. Everything is not yours to carry, maybe next time you feel anxious you can ask yourself - Am I carrying someone else's weight on my shoulders? Does this really have something to do with me? Can I ask someone to help me with this or can someone else do this?
You're not responsible for everything in this world and everything is not yours to carry.
Namaste with love,
Lisa
