Royal Mansour Marrakech

Enter via the private citrus garden through a gorgeous vintage oriental door with candle lanterns on both side. When you enter this spa you will be speechless by the all-white room which is breathtaking. Just when you think nothing can beat the relaxing sounds on the fountains while you have your private area in the white room, you'll make your way to the orangery with the heated swimming pool. Have a nice swim or just chill out in the sun-beds. Watch the sunset here and you will fall in love with Marrakech and Royal Mansour.

La Mamounia

Visually this is definitely the most eye-pleasing Spa in Marrakech with endless corners to take the perfect instagram photo. Maybe that is exactly why this spa just isn't as relaxing as the other spas in Marrakech. It's architecture is stunning and the different sections makes you want to explore but it just isn't relaxing enough.

Four Seasons

Located a bit further away from the busy city centre, there is a high chance you will be completely alone in this gorgeous Spa. This on it's own is a huge bonus if you ask me and makes you relax straight away. This Spa has very comfortable sun-beds in the garden where you can take a cup of Moroccan mint tea, dried fruits and nuts - just lay down and watch the clouds in the sky.

Me and Paris, it's a love hate kind of relationship. The first time I went there I booked 2 tickets for myself and my current boyfriend. We were so excited, planned all the places we wanted to see. Right before our romantic weekend, I got dumped. I paid the difference to change his name on the ticket to my sisters name. I was so grateful that my sister could take his place, however well in Paris - I was heartbroken. A couple of years later I won a stay at Prince de Galles and took my best friend who lived in Paris for over 1 year... Finally, me and Paris lived happily ever after.

Luxury Hotels

Prince De Galles

Where we stayed, exceptional service and a breakfast to die for. I loved the open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant where you can order omelettes, pancakes or eggs florentine.

Plaza Athénée The famous "Sex and The City" Hotel where Carrie is staying when she moves to Paris. The picture above is from their Signature Eiffel Suite with this spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower.

Best Restaurants

Kong

I had their Truffle Pasta which was out of this world. Gorgeous view with glass ceiling and glass walls. Lovely atmosphere for both dates or before going out with friends.

Miss Kô

One of the best Sushi meals I've ever had. Cool, trendy and authentic. Very friendly staff and unique interior design with tv-screens installed below the glass tables, showing videos and images of Asian Art.

Lifestyle

City Bikes

This is a must, rent one of those City Bikes and bike around the City. What many don't know is that you actually can cycle past the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. An excellent way to see the top sights without standing in busy crowds or lines with other tourists.

Picnic

Go to a Parisienne food store, buy some strawberries, cheese and bred (baguettes of course) and go to location of your choice and ENJOY. Highly recommended locations:

Right in front of the Eiffel Tower

Jardin du Luxembourg

Place de Vosges

Don't leave Paris without visiting...

Monsieur Mouche - Rooftop Bar

Last but not least, this cozy rooftop bar is located on the Seine river right across from the Eiffel Tower. Drink fresh summer cocktails under fairy lights and see the Eiffel Towers glittering light show.

Is it possible to not fall in love with New York? I don't think so and without exaggerating - I fell in love with EVERYTHING about NY. It's energy, the light, the sunsets, the sounds of sirens, the yellow cabs and the fire escapes.

This is the first part of my up-to-date Travel Guide in New York, hope you love this city as much as I did...

ROOFTOP BARS & RESTAURANTS

Mr Purple

If I lived in New York I would go to this magical Rooftop Bar - Every. Single. Day. We loved this place so much we went here several times during our stay in New York (This is something I rarely do). Best time to go is definitely around the golden hour - 5pm but if you catch the sunset or go here in the middle of the day you will still see one of the most beautiful views of Lower East Side. Their Chips & Guac on Blue Corn Tortilla Chips are to die for!

Catch

Located in The Meatpacking district you’ll find this charming, trendy and buzzing restaurant which is perfect for dinner with friends, some wine on their terrace which is light up by fairy light or a pre-drink on a Friday night. Keep in mind it’s very popular so the waiting time can be up to 2h so booking in advance is highly recommended.

Restoration Hardware RT

This is an extremely cool rooftop restaurant where the name kind of gives away it’s secret... As you enter this hidden treasure you’re first sight is just a really high end restoration store. If you know you know, and you find yourself asking the doorman for the rooftop. This doesn’t say on their website neither our hotel knew this so we were lucky enough to find this Place. Once on the rooftop, the interior is black, green and discrete. The view of the Meatpacking district is fantastic. Highly recommended.
